SGX today opens with a cautious tone after the Straits Times Index closed 2025 slightly lower. The December Fed minutes pointed to a slower, data-led path to rate cuts, which cooled risk appetite into the year-end half day. Banks eased, while Mapletree Industrial Trust outperformed on defensiveness.
